"Heavies Too" is a photo series following the women who've stepped up to compete in Scotland's Highland Games, heavy events. Previously, only men would compete in this part of the Games, with women's participation in the cultural get-together reserved for highland dancing or athletics. But now, a quiet revolution is taking place, with women like Liz, Jenn, Em, Jules, Rebecca, and Eve carving out a new space. What started as curiosity from the sidelines has turned into serious competition, with women now more regularly invited to compete.
